Sophie Mason

Sophie Mason is a skilled compositor with extensive experience in the visual effects industry. Currently employed at Union Visual Effects since July 2022, Sophie previously worked as a compositor at NVIZ and held roles at Cinesite and Paramexdigital. Early career experience includes a roto/prep artist position at Cinesite and a compositing internship at DNEG, where specialized training was received. Additional freelance work as a digital designer and creative for Creative Path Group involved graphic design and video editing. Sophie's foundational experiences include being a runner at Evolutions and Halo Post Production, as well as serving as a student ambassador at the University of Surrey. Sophie holds a degree from the University of Surrey, having completed studies at Palmers College and William Edwards Secondary School prior.
