Jessie Findora

Jessie Findora, PhD has a diverse work experience in the education field. From 2006 to 2015, they held various teaching roles in different school districts. In the Phoenixville Area School District, they worked as a Language Arts Teacher for a brief period in 2006. Jessie then moved on to the Coatesville Area School District, where they held the position of English & Reading Remediation Teacher and Gifted Case Manager from 2007 to 2015. In this role, they designed and implemented lesson plans, wrote curriculum for various grades, and managed a reading remediation program. Since 2015, they have been working at the Unionville Chadds Ford School District as an English Teacher. Here, they focused on promoting diversity in the curriculum and received positive feedback for their teaching skills, classroom management, and instructional materials.

Jessie began their education at Gettysburg College, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in English from 1999 to 2004. Following this, Jessie pursued a Master's degree in Education at West Chester University of Pennsylvania from 2004 to 2008.

Continuing their academic journey, Jessie earned a Master of Education (MEd) degree in Reading Teacher Education from Cabrini University, attending from 2009 to 2012. Subsequently, Jessie pursued a Master of Arts (MA) degree in Educational Psychology with a Concentration in Giftedness, Creativity, and Talent Development at the University of Connecticut, where they studied from 2013 to 2016.

Driven by a passion for teaching, learning, and technology, Jessie pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree at Lehigh University from 2015 to 2020, specializing in Teaching, Learning, and Technology.

Additionally, Jessie holds a Teaching License-Standard certification from the COMMONWEALTH OF PENNSYLVANIA DEPARTMENT OF EDUCATION. The specifics of when this certification was obtained are not provided.
