Jim Acker

Jim Acker has a diverse work experience in the HVAC field. Jim is currently working as the Manager of Building Maintenance at Unionville-Chadds Ford School District since December 2021. Before that, they worked as an HVAC Technician at West Chester Area School District from July 2016 to December 2021. Prior to that, Jim was a Lead Technician at Oliver Mechanical from July 2015 to July 2016, and also served as a Commercial Service Field Supervisor at the same company from March 2010 to July 2016. Jim started their career at UGI HVAC Services in April 1997 as a Senior Technical HVAC and worked there until March 2010.

Jim Acker attended Tridium University from 2015 to 2016, where they obtained a degree in Niagara 4 crossover in the field of Controls. In 2014, they also attended MOV Training and received certification in Niagara ax certified. Furthermore, in 1996 to 1997, they attended CHI Institute and obtained a degree in HVAC in the field of HVAC/R. Jim also has additional certifications, including one in Niagara ax/N4 from Tridium University, a Backflow Preventer Testing Technician certification from ASSE, and an EPA Section 608 Certification - Refrigerant Handling from Ferris State University.
