Katharine DelDotto has a diverse work experience, starting as an intern at Biggs and Battaglia: Attorneys at Law in 2008. Katharine then worked as a Program Manager at the W&M Alumni Association from 2009 to 2011. In 2011, they became the Graduate Coordinator and Cascell's Fellow at the Young Women Leaders Program. Katharine joined UVa Young Writers Workshop in 2012 as a Teaching Assistant/Residential Counselor for a brief period. Later that year, they worked as a Substitute Teacher at Albemarle County Public Schools. In 2013, they became a High School English Teacher at Loudoun County Public Schools until 2015. Currently, they are working as a High School English Teacher at the Unionville Chadds Ford School District.
Katharine DelDotto completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in English and History at William & Mary from 2005 to 2009. Katharine went on to pursue a Masters of Teaching in Secondary English Education at the University of Virginia between 2011 and 2013. In addition, they attended the University of Essex in 2007, although the specific degree obtained from this institution is not provided.

The Unionville-Chadds Ford School District (UCFSD) is a school district in southeastern Chester County and western Delaware County, Pennsylvania in the United States, a 77 square mile area encompassing seven townships. Schools are Unionville High School, Charles F. Patton Middle School, Chadds Ford Elementary School, Hillendale Elementary School, Pocopson Elementary School, and Unionville Elementary School.
