Teimour Bagirov

Teimour Bagirov has extensive experience in leadership roles within the financial and insurance sectors. Currently serving as the Chairman of the Supervisory Board and President at UNIQA Ukraine since January 2021, Teimour also held the position of Chairman of the Supervisory Board at Ukrgasbank from April 2015 to May 2023. Other notable roles include Non Executive Board Member at UNIQA Insurance Group AG, Member of the Board of Directors at Iskander Energy, and Managing Director at A1, part of Alfa Group. Teimour's background includes significant positions in the Ukrainian government, including Head of Advisory Group to the Vice Prime Minister and Director in the Ministry of Finance. Teimour Bagirov is an alumnus of Kyiv National Economics University, having completed studies from 1990 to 1995.
