Dana DeMeo

Dana DeMeo has over 27 years of experience in engineering design, program management and general management. He graduated from NYU Polytechnic with a B.S. and M.S. in Electrical Engineering and is a Licensed Professional Engineer. He is a Certified Lean Six Sigma Green Belt and holds a Lean Expert certificate from Purdue University. Mr. DeMeo specializes in the design and manufacture of electromechanical products sold to the advanced transportation, life safety, industrial and consumer markets. He has experience with rugged mechanical and electrical products in harsh environments such as vehicular systems, firefighter equipment, advanced mobile computing and portable data capture devices. This experience is augmented with software/firmware capabilities enabling embedded, IoT and cloud solutions. Mr. DeMeo has held positions such as Chief Technical Officer, Chief Engineer, Senior Leader of R&D, Global Director of Engineering and Design Engineer. He has experience with designs for low and high-volume manufacturing across both start-up and Fortune-100 companies. He enjoys teaching, mentoring and presenting, and has authored over 1000 pages in various periodicals and manuals. He resides in Charlotte, North Carolina
