Hyok Lee has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and industries. Hyok started their career in the United States Navy, serving as a Civil Engineer Corps Officer, where they managed the day-to-day affairs and long-range planning for the Public Works Department. After leaving the Navy, Lee joined The Toro Company as a Senior Design Engineer, where they primarily worked on valves and pressure regulators. Hyok later became an Engineering Manager at Corona Clipper, Inc., overseeing all new product development projects and managing a cross-functional team. Lee then transitioned to Fluidmaster, Inc. as a Senior Project Engineer, responsible for managing New Product Development projects. At The Toro Company, they served as a Product Marketing Manager, leading new product development and sustaining projects for irrigation products. Currently, Hyok Lee works at Unique Lighting Systems as a Senior Principal Design Engineer, specializing in transformers and purchased complete luminaire products. Throughout their career, Lee has successfully launched new products, improved product performance, and implemented cost-saving measures.

Hyok Lee earned a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from The George Washington University from 1989 to 1993. Hyok later pursued an MBA with a focus on Business and Marketing at the A. Gary Anderson Graduate School of Management at the University of California, Riverside from 2000 to 2003.
