Norman Cross, PMP has a diverse work experience that spans multiple industries. Norman began their career as a Director of Operations at MetaSource, a technology-driven provider of Business Process Outsourcing services. Norman then joined Unique Snacks as the Director of Sales, where they played a key role in meeting the increasing demand for their unique pretzel products.
In 2012, Norman transitioned to the United States Air Force, where they held various leadership positions. As the Superintendent of a Formal Training Unit, they successfully managed training programs and established a core instructor team for enhanced instruction. Norman then served as a Flight Chief in Current Operations, optimizing the efficiency of a 55-member team and refining aviation resource management programs. Additionally, as the Superintendent of Group Standards & Evaluations, they were responsible for overseeing special operations activities in the USPACOM theater.
In 2020, Norman co-founded Force Medical Solutions, which aims to bring innovative medical devices and services to service-disabled veterans. Throughout their career, Norman has demonstrated a strong ability to lead teams, optimize processes, and deliver exceptional results.
Norman Cross, PMP has a Master of Arts (M.A) degree in International Relations and Conflict Resolution from American Military University, which they obtained from 2010 to 2017. Norman also holds an Associate of Arts (A.A.) degree in Korean Studies from the Defense Language Institute Foreign Language Center, achieved from 2005 to 2006. In addition, they obtained a Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.Sc.) degree in Liberal Arts and Sciences/Liberal Studies from Excelsior University during the same time period. Norman Cross, PMP also holds an Associate of Arts (A.A.) degree in Japanese Studies from the University of Maryland Global Campus, earned from 2001 to 2003. Lastly, they have an Associate of Arts and Sciences (A.A.S.) degree in Intelligence from the Community College of the Air Force, which they obtained from 2000 to 2003. Norman Cross, PMP has also pursued additional certifications, including PMP from the Project Management Institute in 2017, Healthcare Quality Improvement from IHI in 2017, Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt from GoLeanSixSigma.com in 2017, and Crew Resource Management Facilitator from the USAF in 2012.
