Unique Tool & Gauge Inc. was established in 1982. Over the years we have become one of the leaders in quality for the moldmaking industry. Unique provides full service design, manufacturing, and program management of tooling from initial concept until years later, when the product life cycle is complete. All jobs are reviewed prior to the start of tool design, in an effort to simplify the part, and therefore minimize tool complexity. Unique Tool and Gauge is a pioneer in the development of Aluminum Production Tooling for automotive applications. In comparable tools we have had success in achieving over 50% cycle time saving compared to an identical P-20 tool. Our data collection also demonstrates better wear properties and less tool maintenance for Aluminum Production vs. a P-20 tool. To develop this expertise, we worked closely with Honda for many years on collecting data and performing comparison tests.
