Unique Tool and Gauge

Unique Tool & Gauge Inc. was established in 1982. Over the years we have become one of the leaders in quality for the moldmaking industry. Unique provides full service design, manufacturing, and program management of tooling from initial concept until years later, when the product life cycle is complete. We provide the customer with new technologies and advanced management systems designed to reduce cost and time. Our facility is equipped with some of the most productive and efficient machines available today. Our internal documents and procedures have been developed over many years to ensure top level quality, service and commitment to our customers. All jobs are reviewed prior to the start of tool design, in an effort to simplify the part, and therefore minimize tool complexity. Unique Tool and Gauge is a pioneer in the development of Aluminum Production Tooling for automotive applications. In comparable tools we have had success in achieving over 50% cycle time saving compared to an identical P-20 tool. Our data collection also demonstrates better wear properties and less tool maintenance for Aluminum Production vs. a P-20 tool. To develop this expertise, we worked closely with Honda for many years on collecting data and performing comparison tests. We understand the necessary planning that is required up front to identify if a part is truly a candidate for Aluminum Production Tooling. Unique has gained much experience over the years to help with part design modifications and tool build requirements to ensure you will receive the maximum benefits of an Aluminum Production mold. Our Team of experts will work early on with you as a partner and assist with processing and identifying opportunities for cycle reduction.
