Christine Sheaffer, SHRM-SCP

Christine Sheaffer, SHRM-SCP, has a diverse work experience spanning multiple roles and companies. Christine began their career in 2005 at Tax Matrix, where they worked as a Compliance Analyst. Christine then progressed to the role of Senior Compliance Analyst and later became the Manager of Operations. In 2011, Christine moved to Avalara through an acquisition of Tax Matrix, where they served as the Manager of Content & Compliance. From 2013 to 2017, they also worked as a full-time student at Duquesne University & Villanova University. In 2018, Christine joined Glick Fire Equipment Co., Inc. as a Legal Compliance & Human Resource Management professional. Christine recently joined UniqueSource Products & Services in 2022 as the Corporate Compliance & Risk Manager. Throughout their career, Christine has gained extensive expertise in compliance, risk management, and human resource management.

Christine Sheaffer, SHRM-SCP has a strong educational background in the field of Human Resource Management. Christine obtained their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Paralegal Studies from Peirce College in 2008. Following that, they pursued their Associate of Science (A.S.) degree in Paralegal Studies from HACC, Central Pennsylvania's Community College, which they completed in 2005.

In 2013, Christine began their Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Leadership and Professional Administration at Duquesne University, which they successfully completed in 2015. Subsequently, in 2016, they attended Villanova University, where they studied Human Resource Management, although the field of study for their degree is unspecified.

Christine has also obtained additional certifications throughout their career. In 2018, they earned the SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) designation from SHRM. Furthermore, in 2023, they obtained the Employing Abilities at Work Certificate from SHRM.
