Andrea Kocharyan

Andrea Kocharyan has extensive experience in the field of legal and compliance, with a focus on the pharmaceutical industry. Andrea has held various leadership positions throughout their career, including Vice President, Head of Legal Affairs at Sumitomo Dainippon Pharma Oncology and Vice President, Head of Legal and Compliance at Zealand US, Inc. at Zealand Pharma. Andrea has also served as Vice President, US General Counsel and Compliance Officer at rEVO Biologics, and as Assistant General Counsel, Staff Attorney Corporate at Biogen Idec. Prior to their legal career, Andrea worked as an Associate Scientist at Biogen, where they gained experience in cell-based and lysate potency assays. Andrea holds a Technology Licensing Associate role at MIT, where they managed the university's trademark portfolio. Andrea's most recent position is as VP, Legal, Development and Compliance at uniQure.

Andrea Kocharyan received a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Worcester Polytechnic Institute in 2000. Andrea later pursued further education and obtained a Juris Doctor degree with an Intellectual Property Concentration from Suffolk University Law School in 2007.
