Jaime Maturana

Jaime Maturana currently serves as the Director of Global QC Technical Services at uniQure since July 2022. Prior to this role, Jaime held various positions at Takeda from July 2016 to July 2022, including Associate Director roles in Cell Therapy and Quality Control, as well as Site Lead for Quality Control. Jaime's earlier experience includes a tenure at Biogen Idec from 2006 to 2015 as Scientist II and Manager of Quality Control Analytical Technology, focusing on method transfers and GMP testing. At Bionaut Pharmaceuticals from 2003 to 2006, Jaime established the High Throughput Screening department and managed a team for assay development. Additionally, Jaime served as Director of Operations at Exalpha Biologicals and Oncogene Research Products, overseeing manufacturing processes and quality control operations. Jaime holds a BS and MS equivalent degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from Universidad de Concepción.
