Klaske Schippers

Klaske Schippers is an accomplished scientist specializing in biotechnology, currently serving as a Senior Scientist in Biological Starting Materials AAV and previously as a Scientist in Cell Line Development AAV at uniQure since December 2022. Schippers has a rich research history, including a role as a Staff Scientist at the Max Planck Institute for Multidisciplinary Sciences, where leadership was demonstrated in nanobody development and planarian cell culture projects. Prior positions include a Postdoc and Lab Officer at EMBL, focusing on sponge cell type characterization, and a Marie Curie Postdoc fellow at both Université de Genève and the University of Denver, studying sponge biology and signaling pathways.
