Julio Cesar Aguirre Ramirez

Julio Cesar Aguirre Ramirez serves as the Decano de facultad at Uniremington since February 2016, overseeing academic and administrative activities in the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine and promoting educational quality. As a Professor, Julio teaches undergraduate courses in Anatomy, Bioethics, and Animal Welfare. Additionally, Julio holds the role of Consejero at the Consejo Profesional de medicina veterinaria y de Zootecnia de Colombia since May 2023, contributing to the regulation of veterinary practice. Julio also provides academic advice for the Committee Interinstitucional de Fauna y Flora de Antioquia and directs scientific actions for the forensic veterinary team at Animal Defense S.A.S. Julio was a member of the Board of Directors for ASFAMEVEZ from April 2021 to March 2023 and served as a Veterinary Forensic Physician for the Medellín Mayor's Office from February 2013 to July 2019. Julio’s educational background includes a Doctorate in Veterinary Sciences and several specialized degrees in administration, forensic sciences, and teaching.
