Unisense Environment A/S

We enable wastewater treatment plants to reduce total greenhouse gas emissions from nitrous oxide (N₂O). Nitrous oxide can account for up to 90% of the total carbon footprint from wastewater treatment. Our N₂O Wastewater System is the only sensor in the world to measure dissolved nitrous oxide - and in real-time. The high focus on energy savings have shown to cause an increase in nitrous oxide levels. Therefore, a real reduction of green house gasses needs to take N₂O production and emission into account. Our sensor measures directly in wastewater and is not dependent on aeration. Using our sensor enables active control strategies for the reduction of total carbon footprint.
