Martin van Assche

Martin Van Assche, Ph.D., is a Principal Engineer at Unison Industries since January 2012, specializing in processes and manufacturing development for the Unison electronics portfolio and new technology introduction. Previous roles at Unison included Senior Hardware Manager, Manufacturing Programs Manager, Engineering Manager for Emerging Technologies, and Materials/Process Engineer for New Product Development, where significant achievements encompassed robust issue resolution processes and substantial cost savings. Prior to Unison, Martin served as a Materials Engineer at Lockheed Martin Space Systems Company, liaising between Materials & Processes and Design groups for the Orion spacecraft. Martin’s academic background includes a Ph.D. and MS in Materials Engineering, as well as a BS in Chemical Engineering from the University of Florida.
