Ravindra Kumar has a diverse and extensive work experience in the insurance industry. Ravindra is currently serving as the Director and President of UNISON Insurance Broking Services Pvt Ltd since December 2019. Prior to this, they worked as the Deputy General Manager at National Insurance Co. Ltd from December 2018 to September 2019, where they headed the Reinsurance, Marine, Oil & Energy departments. Before that, they held the position of CEO & MD at India International Insurance Pte Ltd in Singapore from September 2013 to November 2018. Ravindra also worked as the Deputy General Manager at National Insurance Co. Ltd from August 2009 to September 2013, where they were responsible for the growth of the Marine, Oil, & Energy portfolio. Additionally, they held various positions at The New India Assurance Co. Ltd, including Chief Manager and Senior Divisional Manager, where they handled Marine Cargo business and wrote P & C, Motor, Health, and Aviation business. Ravindra started their career as an AAO and worked their way up to Deputy Manager, gaining experience in underwriting and claims in various departments.
Ravindra Kumar completed their Bachelor of Arts degree with a focus in History and Economics at the University of Madras from 1977 to 1980. Additionally, they obtained the ACII certification from the Associate Chartered Insurance Institute in London in 1995.
