Fatima Ayad has extensive experience in communications, currently serving as a Press Officer at Unison since November 2013. Prior to this role, Fatima worked with NSPCC as a Senior Communications Officer in both the national media team and the Strategic Communications team from 2006 to 2013, focusing on delivering corporate communications strategies and promoting child protection initiatives. Earlier positions include roles at the Department for Communities and Local Government, the Department for Education of the UK, and as an intern at the French Chamber of Commerce in Great Britain. Fatima also has academic experience as a Lecturer in English Understanding at Université Jean Moulin in Lyon, France. Fatima holds a Master’s degree (MA) and a Bachelor’s degree (Licence) in Langues, Littératures, Civilisations Etrangères (LLCE) from the same university.
