Balvir Singh

Balvir Singh has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades in the pharmaceutical industry. Balvir is currently serving as the Vice President and Head of R&D for the Regulatory Market at Unison Pharmaceuticals Pvt. Ltd. since April 2021. Prior to this, they held the position of Associate Vice President in R&D for the Regulatory Market at the same company from February 2019 to March 2021.

Before joining Unison Pharmaceuticals, Balvir Singh worked at Intas Pharmaceuticals, where they held various managerial roles in the R&D department. Balvir was the Senior General Manager of F&D from April 2017 to January 2019. Prior to that, they served as the General Manager, DGM, and Assistant General Manager of F&D from 2015 to 2017, 2014 to 2015, and 2012 to 2014, respectively.

Balvir Singh started their career at Jubilant Life Sciences Ltd. in 2006, where they worked as a Group Leader and Sr. Research Scientist in the NDDS division. Their responsibilities included the development of extended release formulations, delayed release formulations, and multi-unit particulate drug delivery systems for the US, EU, and ROW markets. Balvir also dealt with regulatory deficiencies and conducted patent non-infringement analysis during their tenure at Jubilant.

Prior to that, Balvir Singh worked as a Research Officer at Sun Pharma Advanced Research Company Ltd. from 2003 to 2006.

Balvir Singh attended Manipal Academy of Higher Education from 2001 to 2003, where they obtained a degree in M.Pharm with a specialization in Pharmaceutics.
