Maria Genar

Maria Genar has a diverse work experience, starting in 2012 as a Trainer at the Global Language Center. Maria then worked as a Teacher and Coach at Prince William County Public Schools before becoming a Department Lead at Fairfax County Public Schools. In 2017, they joined GeoIdentity Inc. as a Project Manager, leading various Information Technology and Data Analytics projects. From 2018 to 2021, Maria served as the Program and Training Lead at the Global Language Center, supporting the Foreign Service Institute of the Department of State. Maria then worked as the Deputy Project Manager at Brillient Corporation, overseeing a contract with DHS/TSA. Most recently, Maria held roles at RIVA Solutions, Inc. as the Director of Business Development and later as the Delivery & Growth lead. they are currently working as a Senior Director of Corporate Growth at Unissant.

Maria Genar holds a Master's degree in Language, culture, and diversity studies from George Mason University. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor's degree in Public Speaking, Organizational Communication, with a minor in International Studies from the University of South Florida. In 2021, Maria obtained a certification as a Certified ScrumMaster® (CSM®) from Scrum Alliance.
