Brian Yap

Brian Yap has a diverse work experience in graphic design and web marketing. Brian started their career as a Web Designer at Uniquemail Business Solutions in 2009, where they created website templates and implemented Content Management Systems. Brian then worked as a Junior Graphic Designer at Trading Places Publishing, where they contributed to the completion of the winter issue of Postcard Magazine.

In 2010, Brian joined GreeneDesk Pty Ltd. as a Graphic Designer, where they collaborated with the brand manager to create effective designs for marketing purposes, resulting in increased brand awareness. Brian then worked at Swann Communications as a Graphic Designer & Web Marketer for nearly a decade, providing design support for print and digital media and assisting with web collateral creation.

Brian's work experience also includes being a Contract Graphic Designer at Localz, where they created graphic banners for social media platforms. Brian was later self-employed with Bactakleen Australia, where they focused on business development and market penetration in Australia.

Brian then joined BANXA as a Graphic Designer, contributing to the achievement of commercial and brand objectives through visual communication. Most recently, they have been working as a Graphic Designer at Zerocap, where they have taken ownership of marketing creative output, developed creative concepts, maintained style guidelines, and collaborated across teams to deliver advertising materials.

Starting in 2023, Brian will be working as a Contract Graphic Designer at UniSuper.

Brian Yap began their education journey in 2004 at the Limkokwing University of Creative Technology, where they pursued a Diploma in Graphic Design with a major in Advertising. Brian completed this program in 2007. In 2007, Yap proceeded to RMIT University, where they pursued a Bachelor of Design in Communication Design. Brian completed this degree program in 2008. In 2009, Yap enrolled at Monash University for a Graduate Diploma in Multimedia Design, which they completed in 2010.
