Carole G. began their work experience in 1998 as a Business Development Manager at National Australia Bank, where they developed relationships with institutional clients and managed stakeholder communications. Carole then moved on to Carole Goldin Consulting in 2001, serving clients mainly in the financial sector and providing guidance in strategic communications, stakeholder engagement, and change management. At IFM from 2010 to 2012, Carole focused on brand and communications. Carole later joined Goldin Consulting again in 2013, focusing on stakeholder engagement and content. From 2014 to 2017, Carole worked at IRESS in marketing, communications, and change roles. Carole then transitioned to Xero in 2020, where they led global people and change communications and advised executive and senior leaders. Most recently, Carole joined UniSuper in 2021 as part of their Marketing & Communications - Investments team. Additionally, Carole is also a qualified coach and member of the International Coach Federation, offering coaching services to leaders in various fields.

Carole G. received a Masters degree in Knowledge Management, Social Business, Organisational Culture, and Change from the University of Melbourne between the years 2004 and 2007. Prior to that, they completed a Bachelor of Economics (BEc) at Monash University, although the specific dates are unknown. In 2017 to 2018, Carole pursued a Graduate Certificate in Organisational Coaching at Swinburne University of Technology.
