Manjula Bamunuarachchi (Manny)

Manjula (Manny) Bamunuarachchi has over 20 years of work experience in various roles related to test engineering and automation. Manjula (Manny) started their career as a Senior Systems Analyst at Sri Lanka Ports Authority in 1998. From 2002 to 2007, they worked at Attra, where they held multiple roles including Test Manager, Test Lead, Business Analyst, and Test Analyst. At Oakton, they served as a Senior Test Practice Consultant in the Testing Practice from 2007 to 2009. Manjula (Manny) then joined FTI Consulting in 2009 as a Senior Software Engineer - Test, where they worked as a sole representative of a global team supporting development teams in Seattle, Pittsburgh, and Melbourne. Finally, they joined UniSuper in 2016 as a Lead Automation Engineer, where they have experience in Agile methodologies, test automation framework development and maintenance, as well as coordination skills with various stakeholders. Manjula has extensive experience with various software and technologies, including Visual Studio, C#, Selenium, and SQL Server.

Manjula (Manny) Bamunuarachchi earned a Master's Degree in Information Technology from Victoria University, studying from 2001 to 2003. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology from London Metropolitan University, attending from 1996 to 1999. Manny also holds a certification as an ISTQB/ISEB Certified professional, although the institution, month, and year of obtaining this certification are not specified.
