Alexandros Pappas has a strong background in software engineering and architecture. Alexandros started their career in 1991 as a soldier in the Greek army and then went on to work as a system engineer at SGI from 1995 to 1996. Alexandros continued their career as a research assistant at EPFL from 1993 to 1995. Alexandros then worked as a software engineer at SENA from 1996 to 1997 and at UBS from 1997 to 2000. Alexandros joined Jatec Zurich as a software engineer from 2000 to 2002, before moving to Financial Technologies where they worked as a software architect from 2002 to 2008.
