Marc Merrill is currently the co-chair at Unite America, a position they have held since 2013. Prior to this, they were an corporate attorney at E.ON from 2010 to 2013 where they advised on a broad range of legal and regulatory issues surrounding the trading of physical and financial power, natural gas, oil, LNG, coal, weather and environmental commodities. From 2008 to 2009, Merrill was an associate at King & Wood Mallesons where they worked in private equity and private equity fund formation. Marc also spent time as a wissenschaftlicher Mitarbeiter at Clifford Chance in 2008 where they worked in M&A, capital markets, and antitrust. Merrill began their career as an associate at Breazeale Sachse and Wilson LLP in 2006 where they worked in commercial litigation.
Marc Merrill has a B.A. from The University of Texas at Austin in Government, Theirtory, and German. Marc also has a DAAD Scholarship for a fully funded year of intense study focusing on German, European Union, and International Law from the DAAD Program for International Lawyers. Finally, they have a J.D. and Bachelor of Civil Law from LSU Law.
