Kathleen Oneil

Kathleen ONeil has a diverse work experience history. Kathleen started their career as an Assistant Professor at Denison University in 2005 and held the position until 2007. Kathleen then transitioned to the role of Assistant Director at the Croft Institute for International Studies at the University of Mississippi from 2007 to 2008.

In 2008, Kathleen joined UNITE HERE and progressed through various roles within the Research Department. Kathleen started as a Research Analyst and held the position until 2010 when they were promoted to Senior Research Analyst. From 2014 to 2017, Kathleen served as a Research Coordinator, and then as Deputy Director of the Research Department from 2017 to 2019. Currently, they hold the position of Lead Director in the Research Department at UNITE HERE as of July 2019.

Kathleen O'Neil holds a Ph.D. in Sociology that they obtained from the University of Arizona, where they also earned their M.A. in Sociology. Prior to that, they completed their undergraduate studies at Bowdoin College, receiving an A.B. degree. Kathleen'smajor during that time was Sociology, while they also pursued a minor in Philosophy.
