Ivana Krajcinovic

VP Of Healthcare Delivery at UNITE HERE HEALTH

Ivana Krajcinovic has extensive experience in the healthcare industry and labor movement. Ivana has held various roles at different organizations throughout their career.

At UNITE HERE HEALTH, Ivana worked as the Senior Director of Healthcare Delivery, overseeing directors in multiple locations and managing benefit design, participant engagement, and managed care contracting. Ivana also led a team of Health Promoters in care coordination, enrollment, and social determinants of health.

Prior to that, Ivana served as the Acting Plan Administrator at the Los Angeles Employer-Union Hotel-Restaurant Trust Funds. Ivana successfully led the recovery plan for the health plan and facilitated its merger with UNITE HERE HEALTH. Ivana also initiated Stanford's Chronic Disease Self-Management Program for participants.

Earlier in their career, Ivana was an Organizing Director at UNITE HERE, primarily organizing workers at Indian Casinos and advocating for workers' rights. Ivana also held the position of Lead Organizer at Local 483 in Monterey, where they focused on transforming the local into an organizing hub and successfully brought Asilomar Conference Center into the union. Ivana's passion for organizing began when they were a graduate student at Yale, where they became involved in organizing drives for graduate students and eventually left academia to work for the union.

Ivana Krajcinovic obtained their Bachelor of Science degree in Economics from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, where they studied from 1983 to 1987. In 1985 to 1986, they pursued a Diploma program in Economics at The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE). Continuing their academic journey, Ivana completed their Doctor of Philosophy - PhD in Economics from Yale University, studying there from 1987 to 1993.
