Jenny McGovern

Jenny McGovern worked at UNITE HERE HEALTH as a Sr. Legal Counsel/Chief Privacy Officer, responsible for drafting, reviewing, and negotiating complex commercial agreements. Jenny also supported the organization's development of new healthcare products and services and advised on issues related to the organization's website and marketing campaigns. At McDonald Hopkins LLC, they worked as an Attorney from 2006 to 2015. Prior to that, they served as a Legislative Analyst at the Illinois State Senate from 2002 to 2003.

Jenny McGovern completed their education with a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Public Relations and Political Science from the University of Southern California in 2002. Prior to that, they attended Benet Academy from 1994 to 1998. Later, Jenny pursued higher education at Chicago-Kent College of Law, Illinois Institute of Technology, where they obtained a Doctor of Law (J.D.) degree from 2004 to 2006.
