Jason Chau

Jason Chau has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Jason started their career as an Office Assistant & Runner at Lafond Law Firm in 2009. In 2011, they interned as a Virtual Services Intern at Richland County Public Library. Jason then worked as a Multimedia Intern at Congaree Riverkeeper in 2012 followed by a Digital Media & Communications Intern role at the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender Community Center in 2013. In 2015, they worked as a Marketing VISTA at SBP before transitioning to the role of Volunteer Coordinator at the same organization in 2016. From 2016 to 2020, Jason joined the Los Angeles Area Chamber of Commerce, where they worked as a Coordinator, Marketing & Communications and later became a Manager, Publications & Website. Currently, Jason is working at UNITE-LA, initially as a Manager, Design & Marketing, then as a Senior Manager, and currently as an Associate Director, Design & Marketing.

Jason Chau graduated from the University of South Carolina - Honors College in 2012 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Journalism and Mass Communications. Jason then went on to pursue their Master of Arts (M.A.) degree in Media, Culture, and Communication at New York University from 2012 to 2014.
