Jimmy Adames

Jimmy Adames is a seasoned software engineer with extensive experience in test automation and software development. Currently serving as a Software Engineer in Test at Unite Us, Jimmy developed an end-to-end test suite utilizing Ruby, RSpec, and Selenium WebDriver, achieving coverage of approximately 80% of features for the internal tools team. Prior roles include a Software Development Engineer in Test at Freshly, where automation efforts significantly reduced regression testing time and improved website performance, and a QA Engineer at Give Lively, where critical end-to-end tests were migrated to Cypress. Additional experience as a Ruby Developer involved creating web applications and donation systems. Jimmy holds a B.A. in Psychology/Sociology from Stony Brook University and has completed web development programs at Startup Institute and CareerFoundry.
