Tanmoy Prasad

Tanmoy Prasad, PMP has over 25 years of work experience in the field of information technology. Tanmoy has held various roles in both the private and public sectors. Prasad has served as the Head of Information Technology at Unitech Limited since June 2020. Prior to this, they worked as the Chief Technology Officer at the Ministry of Road Transport & Highways - India from September 2018 to May 2020. Tanmoy has also worked as a Professional Freelancer and an Advisor IT at Expert Software Consultants. Moreover, Prasad has held senior positions such as Senior Vice President at Government eMarket Place and Chief Information and Technology Officer at the Food Safety and Standards Authority of India. Tanmoy has also worked as an IT Advisor at the Department of IT, Govt. of Haryana, where they were responsible for overseeing projects and formulating IT strategies for the government. In addition, Prasad has experience as a Partner at Esoft services and as a Principal Consultant for NSDG at C-DAC. Throughout their career, Prasad has managed multiple software development projects and led teams of technical resources.

Tanmoy Prasad, PMP has a Master's degree (ME) in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from BIT Mesra Student-Industry Relations Cell, obtained between 1993 and 1994. Prior to that, they pursued a Bachelor's degree (BE) in Electrical Engineering from Malaviya National Institute of Technology Jaipur from 1988 to 1993. Tanmoy completed their Intermediate Science degree from Science College Patna between 1985 and 1988. Tanmoy Prasad's secondary education was completed at Carmel School, Giridih, from 1973 to 1985. In terms of certifications, they obtained the Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute in September 2009. Additionally, they have obtained certifications in Artificial Intelligence for Project Managers from LinkedIn and Generative AI Overview for Project Managers from the Project Management Institute. Tanmoy also holds a certification in Disrupting Yourself from LinkedIn, obtained in 2019.
