Karla Muniz

Karla Muniz, MHR, SPHR, SHRM-SCP, currently serves as Chief People Officer at IMA Medical Group, a position held since July 2022. Prior to this, Karla held various strategic roles at AdventHealth Central Florida from April 2018 to July 2022, including Executive Director of Strategic Workforce Integration and Human Resources Director for iSynergy (ERP) Implementation. Karla's extensive experience in human resources spans back to Florida Hospital from January 2005 to April 2018, where responsibilities included Senior Human Resources Director for Talent Acquisition and Nurse Recruitment Manager. Earlier career experiences include positions at All Medical Personnel as Staffing Manager and Bank One as Financial Service Advisor/HR Assistant. Educational credentials include a Master’s degree in Human Resources from Rollins College and a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from the University of Central Florida.
