Sola Yomi-Ajayi is the CEO of UBA America at United Bank for Africa. Sola has over 19 years of experience in the banking industry.

Sola started their career at Citibank Nigeria in July 1999 as a relationship manager. Sola was responsible for business development, relationship management, market share growth, product cross sell, and revenue generation. Sola grew revenues by an average of 25% year on year leveraging varioues e-business and treasury solutions.

In September 2008, they joined UBA Group as the Division Head of Global Financial Institutions and Debt Funding. In this role, they were responsible for global financial institutions and development organizations coverage, business development, structured funding, strategy and risk management, compliance, liquidity management, and revenue generation.

Sola has been with United Bank for Africa since July 2018 and is currently the CEO of UBA America.

Sola Yomi-Ajayi has an MBA in International Finance from Robert Gordon University and a B.A in English from Obafemi Awolowo University. Sola also has a certification from the Chartered Management Institute in Fellow, Chartered Management Institute.
