Tim Murphy

Tim Murphy has a solid background in banking with over three decades of experience in various roles. Tim started their career in 1990 at Central Fidelity Bank as an AVP and worked their way up through different positions at Bank of America, Wachovia Bank, Union First Market Bank, First Citizens Bank, Virginia Commonwealth Bank, Essex Bank, and United Bank. Their most recent role was as Vice President- Business Banking at United Bank, where they have been since 2021.

Tim Murphy attended Collegiate School for their primary education. Tim later pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Management from William & Mary, graduating in 1987.
