Associate Director Of Operations at United Bible Societies

Mark Cook's work experience begins in 1993 when they worked as a Technical Officer at BioNET International. In 1994, they joined CABI as a Training Manager, where they successfully repositioned the training unit and implemented new business and marketing strategies. Mark also developed customer relationship management and marketing systems and introduced new products and services. In 2001, they joined United Bible Societies as a Global Grant Management Coordinator, responsible for providing services to international grant-makers and grant-receivers. Mark ensured the integrity and balance of grants made and received and developed impact assessment tools for project effectiveness. In 2013, they became a Systems Coordinator at United Bible Societies, and in 2019, they were promoted to Associate Director of Operations.

Mark Cook holds a Certificate in Psychology of Leadership from Cornell University, which was completed in 2021. In 2014, they also completed a course in Digital Marketing at Squared Online. Mark obtained a Postgraduate Diploma in Marketing from CIM | The Chartered Institute of Marketing in 2005. Mark pursued their undergraduate studies at the University of Reading and graduated with a Diploma in Management Studies in 1998. Prior to that, they completed their DPhil in Entomology from the University of Oxford in 1993. Mark's first degree is a BSc (Hons) in Biological Sciences from the University of Exeter, which was obtained in 1989. Mark completed their secondary education at Winchester College from 1981 to 1986. In 2019, Mark also obtained a certification as an Intercultural Intelligence Foundational Stage 2 Champion from KnowledgeWorkX.
