David Boone

David is an experienced healthcare executive with a background spanning multi-site, ancillary services and health care technology, as well as extensive experience with consumer product companies. A past National Finalist for the Ernst and Young Entrepreneur of the Year Program for Health Care, he most recently served as the CEO of Alacura and American CareSource.

David has held executive roles with a variety of publicly traded and start-up organizations including Kraft General Foods, Sears, PepsiCo, Safeway, and Belo Corporation, in addition to serving as a consultant with the Boston Consulting Group. Boone is a member of the Board of Directors of National Western Life Insurance (NWLI) and is their lead independent director. David also served on several private company and non-profit boards, as well as the Lead Independent Director, Audit Chair, and Executive Committee member of Track Group (TRCK). He has a BS in Accountancy with High Honors from the University of Illinois and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
