Peter Ashade

Peter Ashade has a strong work experience in the financial sector. Peter served as the Group CEO at United Capital Plc starting from 2018. Prior to that, they had a notable tenure at Africa Prudential Plc where they joined in 2006 as the Managing Director/CEO. During their time at Africa Prudential Plc, they successfully transformed the business from a subsidiary of UBA Plc to a listed company on the Nigerian Stock Exchange. Their leadership led to significant growth in profitability, achieving over 8000% growth within 8 years. Notably, they also pioneered innovative e-products offerings for the Nigerian capital market and other sectors.

Peter Ashade has a Masters degree in Finance, General from the University of Lagos. Peter also completed the CEP program at the Lagos Business School, Pan-Atlantic University. Additionally, they hold a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Marketing from Obafemi Awolowo University. Peter has obtained several certifications including A.IoD from the Institute of Directors, Nigeria, ACTI from the Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria, FCA from ICAN, FCIB from The Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria - CIBN, and FCMR from the Institute of Capital Market Registrars.
