Shannon Barney

Shannon Barney, MBA, currently serves as Senior Buyer at United Central Industrial Supply Company, L.L.C., a position held since February 2022. Prior to this role, Shannon worked as a Senior Buyer at Electro-Mechanical Corporation from April 2011 to February 2022 and served as an Engineer at Hapco Pole Products from January 2000 to January 2008. Shannon's engineering career began at Newport News Shipbuilding as a Test Engineer from January 1996 to December 2000. Educational credentials include a Doctor of Philosophy in Strategic Management from the University of the Cumberlands (2020-2023), a Master of Business Administration in Project Management from King University (2019-2020), a Bachelor of Business Administration from King University (2017-2018), an Electrical Design Engineering degree from Newport News Apprentice School (1996-2000), and an Engineer's degree from Southwest Virginia Community College (1993-1996).
