On local, state and national levels, CP of NYS proactively engages the public and government agencies to advocate for the people they support, their field and key issues, such as access and inclusion. CP of NYS works with New York State and other levels of government to enhance the quality of life for people with disabilities and their families.

CP of NYS and the New York State Elks Association have worked together for more than 60 years to provide direct services to people with disabilities in their home communities through the Home Service Program.
