Cheryl Garlock has extensive experience in social work and community advocacy, currently serving as Manager at CP Rochester since November 1986, where Cheryl develops individualized plans and budgets for individuals with disabilities, while also advocating and educating on relevant issues. Cheryl's leadership roles within the NYS Elks Association from 2008 to 2024 include being the first woman president of the Webster-Fairport Elks Lodge and serving as Lodge Secretary, Past State Vice President, and District Deputy. Previous counseling positions at Alternatives for Battered Women and Restart Substance Abuse Services allowed Cheryl to support individuals and families facing abuse and substance issues. Cheryl's foundational experience as a Community Organizer at Northwest Community Services involved building awareness and prevention programs within the community. Cheryl holds a Master of Social Work from Syracuse University and a Bachelor of Arts in English Language and Literature from SUNY Geneseo.
