Amanda Rickard is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst with extensive experience in the field of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). Currently serving UCP Heartland since October 2021, Amanda previously held positions as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst at Bethesda Lutheran Communities and a Clinical Supervisor at BlueSprig. Additionally, Amanda was the Director at Cape Fear ABA, P.C., where the focus was on providing effective in-home therapy for children diagnosed with Autism and other Pervasive Developmental Disorders. Earlier roles include positions at The May Institute as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst, Behavior Specialist, and Clinical Intern. Amanda holds a Master of Arts in Clinical Psychology and Applied Behavior Analysis from the University of North Carolina Wilmington, where studies also included serving as a Teaching Assistant, and a Bachelor's degree in Psychology and English from the University of Missouri-Columbia.
