Nelson Zavala is an accomplished accounting professional with extensive experience in bookkeeping and financial management. Since January 2015, Nelson has provided comprehensive bookkeeping services to various companies, including AGD Transport, Inc., Hearts United Foundation, and Sweet Saviour International. As President and Founder of Hearts United Foundation, Nelson has dedicated efforts to assist children in third-world countries, overseeing multiple soup kitchen initiatives in Honduras. Additionally, Nelson has served as an Accounting Assistant at Queens Centers for Progress since September 2010, focusing on balance sheet reconciliations and internal auditing. Prior experience includes managing personal business Nrz Stainers from 2003 to 2010 and serving as an Accountant at Distribuidora de productos alimenticios, SA, from 1990 to 2000. Nelson holds a Bachelor's degree in Accounting from York College of the City University of New York and an Associate's degree in Business Administration and Accounting from ASA College, along with a Bachelor of Applied Science in Accounting from Institute Cultura Nacional.
