Mason Marks is a skilled engineer with extensive experience in mechanical and systems engineering, particularly in waste treatment processes and logistics. Currently serving as a Process Waste Treatment Complex System Engineer at UCOR since April 2023, Mason is responsible for generating, reviewing, and approving preventative maintenance plans and producing System Health reports. Mason's background includes a long tenure with the Tennessee Army National Guard in various roles, including Medical Logistics Officer and Infantryman. Prior positions include roles at Turnkey Technical Services LLC and Edgewater Technical Associates, providing mechanical engineering support and project oversight in nuclear and chemical industries, as well as teaching applied engineering principles as a Design Engineer Intern at Goodman Manufacturing. Mason holds a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Tennessee Technological University and an Associate of Science degree from Columbia State Community College.

United Cleanup Oak Ridge is conducting major cleanup activities at the laboratory and the security complex as well as remedial activities. Their packaging, loading, shipping, and disposal of all waste from deactivation, demolition, and remediation activities. UCOR is deactivating and demolishing excess facilities, which includes remediatingcontaminated soil, water, and infrastructure.
