Faruk Ahammad FCA is an accomplished finance professional with extensive experience in leadership roles across various prominent organizations. Currently serving as the Deputy Managing Director and CFO at United Commercial Bank PLC since May 2019, Faruk previously held positions such as Chief Internal Auditor at Prime Bank Ltd. and Group Chief Operating Officer at Saad Musa Group of Industries. Faruk also contributed significantly to edotco Bangladesh as Director of Finance, where responsibilities included leading multimillion-dollar investments and system implementations. Earlier experience includes roles as Managing Director and CEO at Apex Investments Ltd., CFO at The City Bank Ltd. and Brac Bank Limited, focusing on financial program development and system improvements. Faruk holds an FCA designation from The Institute of Chartered Accounts of Bangladesh and a B.Com in Business Studies from Dhaka City College.
