William Rush is the current Chief Financial Officer at United Community and Family Services. William has over 20 years of experience in finance and accounting, with a focus on budgeting, financial reporting, audit coordination, grant development, and project management.
Rush began their career in finance as a Vice President at United Services, Inc., where they oversaw the development and implementation of the organization's budget. William then spent five years as the Director of Finance at Blackstone Valley Community Health Care, Inc., where they were responsible for all aspects of the organization's finances, including capital budgeting, financial reporting, and audit coordination. In 2012, Rush became the Finance Director at the Rhode Island Public Transit Authority, where they oversaw a $100 million operating budget and a $30 million capital budget. William also coordinated the annual submission of the National Transit Department Report and oversaw all accounting and payroll operations.
In their current role as CFO at United Community and Family Services, Rush is responsible for all aspects of the organization's finances, including budgeting, financial reporting, grant development, and capital project management.
William Rush earned their MBA in Business Administration and Management from Providence College and their Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting from the University of Rhode Island.
