Brian McCarthy

Brian McCarthy is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in real estate appraisal and valuation. Currently serving as Vice President and Senior Real Estate Review Appraiser at United Community Bank since May 2021, McCarthy previously held the position of Senior Vice President at Commercial Appraisers of the Southeast from June 2018 to May 2021. Prior experience includes a role as Senior Appraiser at McColgan and Company from February 2007 to May 2018, and earlier positions as a Benefits Analyst at Hewitt Associates and an Underwriter II at Liberty Mutual. McCarthy holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Risk Management and Insurance from the University of Georgia's Terry College of Business, earned between 1999 and 2003.
