Joey Hilliard

Joey Hilliard is a seasoned professional in network engineering and management, currently serving as the VP, Network Engineering Manager at United Community since January 2024. With a long-standing commitment to the field, Hilliard has been a member of the GIAC Advisory Board since August 2007. Previous roles include IT Network/Systems Manager at World Acceptance Corporation from January 2018 to January 2024, and Network Engineering Manager at Security Finance from July 2008 to January 2018, where responsibilities encompassed overseeing network security and managing teams of engineers and technicians. Hilliard's career began at Advance America, serving as a Sr. Network Engineer and Network Engineer, contributing to the deployment and maintenance of network services for numerous locations. Hilliard holds an Associate's degree in Computer Networking from Spartanburg Community College.
