David Egan

David Egan is a Legislative Researcher and Coordinator at the United Conservative Caucus since September 2022, supporting the Deputy Government Whip and Parliamentary Secretary for Small Business and Northern Development. Egan is also a Small Business Owner and Co-Owner of Transit Smokehouse & BBQ, active since 2020. Egan served as Campaign Manager for the Edmonton-South campaign for the United Conservative Party of Alberta in April-May 2023, where responsibilities included acting as Official Agent and GOTV Captain. Prior experience includes roles as an R&D Process Technician/Power Engineer at Enerkem and President of the Edmonton Griesbach EDA for the Conservative Party of Canada. Egan was a candidate for the United Conservative Party of Alberta in Edmonton-Beverly-Clareview and previously worked as a Process Operator/Power Engineer at Enerkem Alberta Biofuels LP. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Practice from Royal Roads University, a Third Class Power Engineering degree, and a Chemical Technology degree from NAIT, along with a high school diploma from Eastglen High School.
