Ray Vollmer

Ray Vollmer has over 27 years of work experience in various roles, primarily in human resources and operations consulting. Ray is currently the Director of Human Resources at United Corporate Services, where they lead the HR department in implementing organizational development strategies, compensation planning, payroll, benefit administration, talent acquisition, compliance, and workforce planning initiatives. Prior to that, they worked as an Operations Consultant at Vollmer Consulting, where they developed and maintained relationships with key stakeholders, implemented safety protocols and customer service standards, and developed policies and practices. Ray also served as the VP of Human Resources at RNN-TV, Fios1 News, managing a team of HR professionals, overseeing staffing, payroll, benefits, and administrative services, and enhancing employee relations and development. From 2002 to 2016, they served as the VP of Human Resources at NewBay Media, leading the HR department and partnering with management in successful acquisitions and strategic workforce planning. Ray also has experience as a Staff Consultant at People Management, an HR Manager at Sterling Brands, a Human Resources Benefits Administrator at Geller & Company, and in cash management and mortgage loan processing roles at Columbia Equities and Citibank, respectively.

Ray Vollmer has a Certificate in Human Resources from New York University. Ray also holds a Masters of Science degree in Human Resources and Organizational Development from The New School. In addition, they have a Bachelor of Arts degree in History from the University of Oregon. Ray Vollmer obtained the SHRM-SCP certification from SHRM in June 2015.
